I’m wanting to put about a 2 inch lift on my GX. All of the different options and opinions are overwhelming. I know that some comfort is sacrificed for performance, but what’s a good complete setup for mainly daily driving and a little off road use?

And I know I can off road with stock ride height but I really like the look of a mild lift.

I own a 2013 base model.

Thank you for any inputs!

I just installed a Bilstein 6112 (heavy) and 5160 combo on my 2015 (6112s on the first clip). 2" of front lift and drives SO much better than the stock 150k suspension (no surprise). I need to put a lift spring in back and am going back and forth between the Bilstein B12 1" or 1 1/2" rear springs.

I have had a base level 2” Dobinsons lift on my 2013 for a little over 60k miles. I ordered it from Apache offroad. It has been to N. Georgia countless times, the ozarks and Colorado and Moab. It has served me well.

Thank you I just checked it out. What size coil did you use in the back to make it level? I don’t have any additional weight on mine and I don’t plan to add any right now.

It was a little bit of a simpler ordering process when I got mine 3 or so years ago, they didn’t have all the options. I went with the medium weight which at the time was around 100 lbs. due to a sleeping platform/drawer system I built. Mine definitely still has a little rake. Pic for reference.
