I have a 94 cruiser with 130,000 miles. The engine runs well, no Check Engine light or flashing O/D light during normal operation. However, when I jumper the E1 and Tt terminals in the service connector I get the code 88. I've inspected the harness and find no obvious breaks or cuts. I've cleaned the ECM connections and battery to block and block to chasis grounds as well as the instrument cluster to chassis ground. The code won't clear after pulling the Dome fuse.
TCM is the last step in the initial diagnosis. I only have a Haynes manual and the location of the TCM is not clear from the picture. Help, where is the TCM?
Trying to not be a newbie tard
