Very little on this crossing, I lined the inside of the door with towels. The day before I sat ankle deep in a mud hole I'd conquered several times before. Interior wasn't a concern at that point. Now that its dry, I've had my water fun for a while and photos to prove it.

were headin that way this weekend, hopefully the wullom ford isnt that deep !! watchin the river gauge !

The farther east you cross the shallower it is. I was through there in Oct. and it was hub deep. Photo looks to be richland creek or n. Fork crossing?

Wow. Very nice build. What bumper and roof rack is that?

Thanks! The front bumper is ARB, the rear is a great unit from Hanna Quality Automotive. Problem there is, I don't think he's making them anymore.

The roof rack is a Gobi Safari rack. I'm pleased so far. No issue at all walking around up there. Nice and flat with a removable sunroof patch.

So jealous of the non-US trucks and all the great options. E.g. This truck. Diesel. Four doors. Ute bed.
Nice rig. What hood mounts were used for the pic axe, axe, and shovel? Are they lockable? I am pondering the same thing for my FZJ80, but want to ensure that when parked and left unattended, in heavily populated areas, that my tools don't "grow legs" and disappear.

I got the mounts from a realy early Range Rover. They were mounted originally on the wheel arches. Drilled and bolted them straight into my bonnet with a bit of felt in between the mount and the bonnet. I tapped through the threads close to the wingnut and have put on weatherproof locks. Seems secure to me, plus having tthe axe on the car, people tend to steer clear...

Here's couple pictures of my 1996 Land Cruiser, nothing too fancy. Plans for this year include a rear bumper w/ tire carrier, awning and some NATO style fuel canisters.

Before I added the x4 lights on the roof rack,

What type of cable are you running for the limb risers? Is it black?

Yes! It is covered with black rubberized plastic. It comes that way. I ordered it online. Funny you should ask, I just posted Wild Yoats write up of the mod on facebook this morning!

The risers are very effective. Get the cable as tight as you can before tightening the turnbuckle. Over time, you will need to re-tighten the cables.

Good luck! Let me know if you need any closer pictures.
