ok - snapped some more cel phone pics...

You can see the support posts on the first and second floors. Really wish they would have used steel spans so these things weren't everywhere. Really limits what all you can get in there, and how you can maneuver around. Such is life, I reckon.

On with the tour...

Coming in from the front double door. The last pic is looking to the left. Place is a mess - always is on sundays, for some reason.

back around the corner from the left is the yard stuff corner

coming in the door and turning right is the tv area / bathroom, etc. wob3 has his wii out there now. adults never gather there to gamble on drunk bowling.

check out the sweet picnic table I built. the wife loves looking at crazy Jack when nature calls.

First pic is straight out that door in the second pic above. that's the big grill / pig cooker. that's a greenhouse area on the left.

second pic is the stairs going up

third pic is the second floor - this will become my man cave as soon as I figure out exactly what I want to do with it, and win the lottery. It's a disaster right now -the PO's son had a band, and this was their concert hall. I ripped the foam off of the walls just to let light in. All of the windows were blocked off.

One more pic of the upstairs - around the corner from the pic above. Thinking this would be a good nook for a bar or maybe some couches and a tv...

Next pic is the third floor. Storage. Still has some stuff from friends of the PO...

Third pic is looking at the barn from the side

Grapes right next to the barn. Pond is right past the grapes. Last pic is the barn from the backyard of the house. Plenty far enough, but not too far.

I fxxxing hate you.....................I have had it up to here with midgets.

1st floor all your shop stuff on one side with the other being yard and grounds upkeep, grey or white stain/epoxy the floors and sheet rock it.
2nd floor would be a kick ass party room.
3rd floor just as it is with some rack shelves for storage, give her some space for her stuff and your own space.

That place is gorgeous, strong work.

I have to keep it open like that to get the tractor out, unless I wanted to back it in and out. It just barely fits through that set of double doors. I'll probably take them out, or put a bigger set in eventually. If I moved the golf cart to the other side, then I couldn't get the lawnmower out. I might rock in the wall where the picnic table is, and put a bedroom there. We only have three bedrooms in the house, so no place for guests (or inlaws) to stay. I love that feature.

Oh, and thanks.

EDIT: I forgot the pic of the last barn fixture... Kane-dog and his nuts. Fool always sits like this in his chair. I tell him to have some couth when company comes over, but he pays no mind.

Have any clue how to attend to those vines?

Yes - you have to trim them back in the winter. This year's crop wasn't great because the previous husband of the house had split, so they didn't get cut. They don't produce well on old growth. You have to trim them back to a base and a few shoots each year. They need to be fertilized a few times this year and into the spring as well. I've got a few dead vines that need to be replaced as well. These are native grapes, and are pretty hearty, even in relatively poor soil and low rain conditions.

I thought stashing inlaws in the barn was nice - you can haul yours off in the middle of the night.

lol - when your inlaws leave, you have to dump their s*** (literally). that kinda sucks. I'd tie that bad boy into a septic tank or sewer line somehow.

I have a RV dump outside the shop next to the 2 car garage, there is turd grinder sold now that mounts on the end of the waste water tank that grinds and pumps all the paper and solids into a 3/4" hose which you can run to a clean out, so Im gonna use an old hose and pump it to the drain about 75' away.

Picked up this on a foreclosure special down the street, wired 220 single phase throughout the shop with 30, 50 and 60 AMP plugs right outside the haulers shoreline access, so the AC can be run, there is water and grey water drains in place now.
Had Nicholas spend 2 weeks in August in there with no complaint, once I get the direct tv wired back in and the turd launcher, I may never come in with a two year old running around.

Does the 2nd floor have AC or heat? split half of that for guest and keep the down stair for later in life hobbies, still plenty of room on the 2nd tier for a big party room.

no ac or heat anywhere

hey, I said it was raw from the get-go. :D

If I put a br out there, it has to be on the first floor. Neither of our parent's are getting any younger.

jesus, you guys are making my blue tarp canopy look kinda ghetto now....lol.

Just rebuild it with a green tarp this time. Blue tarps are sooo Hurricane Katrina.

wow....

must be nice to 3000 sq. ft. and not have a fxxxin' clue what to do with it...

:flipoff2:

nice...

I went green/brown this time. Spiffied up the place a bit.

That's good. Depending on whether the gathering is formal or informal, you can flip the tarp to match the decor.
