Is "Gabe" code word for "Tobin"?Gabe was head over heels for James’ LX on 40s with portals
No but I think most of us were as excited as 17 year olds to see his truck. Is "Gabe" code word for "Tobin"?
It’s true. Ben’s at Dissent also! Crazy what that mall crawler can do just with portals! And the 74Weld are a bit more practical. Although I love the monster truck look too!No but I think most of us were as excited as 17 year olds to see his truck.
Mind sharing where? Just came from Ouray for a few days. Considered some dispersed camping but settled on an RV park in townView attachment 3944094
Dispersed camping not far from Ouray, CO
Pretty confident I’ve been in that same spot, that you shoehorn into. Take 550 south out of Ouray. While you can still see town, there is the Amphitheater Campground Rd on your right. Maybe 1,000’ after you turn off 550, you turn off the road to the campground proper. Plenty of dispersed camping back there. DM me in you need more info or any other camping spots in the area.Mind sharing where? Just came from Ouray for a few days. Considered some dispersed camping but settled on an RV park in town

Looks great. How is the bug situation?
I recognized the Down East landscape before I saw the text! Is that campsite in the first pic a HipCamp? I feel like I've seen it before

I understand that wind is the difference maker for OBX.@2014 LEX 570 GA
I had read reviews of that camp that complained that the bugs were awful, but none bothered me. It was windy, so I'm sure that helped.
First camping trip with the rtt

I'm only now realizing how great it would be to put AHC in Low to reduce movement of the vehicle when living out of it..
And that leads me to say.. Self-leveling would have been so easy! All the hardware is built-in.. but electrical demands? If only there were a button for that.
I've got AHC on my JDM 200. I find going up into hi and letting it sit back down into lo tends to level it out more than when I first park. Couple of up and downs and she's usually sitting relatively level. I also use it a lot for kayaks and boy does letting it sit down a bit help with getting the kayaks off the roof rack.A self leveling button similar to what the rivian has would be great. I mainly put it in low to reduce movement as well as to have easier access to the rear since we're all vertically challenged.
I find that simply pulling up, stopping, and waiting 15-20 seconds (still in drive, not in park) frequently results in AHC levelling the vehicle. I see the same thing on the street, when stopped at a light that's on an incline. This is especially the case when you're nose high - the LX will drop it down while raising the rear.I've got AHC on my JDM 200. I am keen to try get my sensor readings out of it and see whats going on with its decision making around ahc when parked.
