I have always believed that comfort is key when it comes to long road trips. That's why I have always been a fan of soft leather seats. The luxurious feel and smooth texture of these seats make every journey feel worth it. I'm curious to hear from Land Cruiser owners on their preference in leather seats, and the experiences they've had while on the road.

My Vote is for Soft Leather. If I wanted hard I would have not bought a Lexus! I'm looking forward to upgrading to Ridies this year!

Is there a difference in durability or resistance to wear?

I also choose Nappa because it is smoother and easier to clean.

Hard carboard leather and some cracks to relieve the pressure. That's how I ride!

Cleaning my seats is like oil rubbing a rhino!

Actually @Ridies, I'm on the look for seat leather replacement and you're on the short list.
Still debating on the foam though. If my left as% cheek is lower than my right, I think the only way to repair is by replacing the cushion with a new oem part.. Expensive part for what it is though. $215 before shipping

I've seen folks steam the cushions back to life. I've always wondered about the longevity of it, though, and haven't found an answer online.

I like soft leather........unfortunately this does not describe the leather in our LC. I have conditioned them once since I have owned it but it needs more help. I have seen people soak them down and then cover the seats with plastic bags. Its in good condition, just hard.

I would prefer cloth seat replacements over leather 10/10 times. Way better than any leather

That's what I'm going to explore shortly. Since I'm not selling it I might as well get what I like best!

If you find a source for cloth replacements, not just a slip cover, PLEASE share your source!!!!

Post up if you make it happen, there are no options on the market right now
