Leather seat covers - Carid

Was going to pull the trigger on new leather from Lseat but I came across Caltrend from Carid, has anyone tried these? Below is a link.

Imm actually still waiting on my sample to match up the leather from Lseat. After reading a few threads and seeing the pics, it will be good for me. I am pretty sure the other posts stated to go with dim grey for the grey leather, but I would like to compare the colors myself. Will let you know if I order the lseat and what the verdict is.

That looks great...Did you get the samples to match up the color? Did they ship farily quick from lseat? Mine is a 94 with the grey leather, yours looks like a 95+ not sure if the greys would be different.

I went with the full set from Katzkin. Took about a week from the point of order. Had them professionally installed. Couldn't be happier. My 80 is a 1997 base model, but I've always liked the two-tone 40th interior, so that's what I went with. Fit is superb. Genuine cow skin.

I waited almost 2 months, enough to kinda forget I ordered them in the first place. I did get the sample sizes. I paid $450 for install from American auto upholstery in corona. They did a very good job. And mine is a 97.

I think lseat is out of business, left them multiple messages and emails a couple of Weekes ago. Their Facebook page has been dead for a few months, with multiple customer posts asking if they were still in business(with no reply)

I have been ready to buy new front seat skins for a month now. Could you imagine if you had an issue once you did finally get them? I'm telling you multiple voice messages, color swatch requests, emails. Does anyone have a number/contact to a comprible company?

I had it done at the Katzkin facility here in Los Angeles. The price probably wasn't applicable as they weren't charging me an hourly rate. That said, I think it was around 1000-1500 for all three rows. Their website doesn't list the 80 hides, but they have the patterns. Just call them. I hand selected the colors to match the brown and tan on the door panels.

Mine took about 3 1/2 weeks to 4 weeks, the communication is bad. I figured there were enough mudders who had purchased from them to give it a shot. I think they are one or 2 people just processing orders part time at a low margin. Dealing with trouble is the gamble, pay by CC and have 90 days to resolve.
