Hey guys I noticed this was leaking, what is it how to fix?

chock the wheels, release the park brake, trans in N
crawl underneath and grab the driveshaft to make sure the bearing is still good
you should have rotational movement but no up and down

if it checks out, it is a simple seal replacement
remove driveshaft, remove stake nut, remove flange, remove old seal
clean surfaces, install new seal, install flange, tighten stake nut, go to where the nut was originally, STAKE nut, re-install driveshaft, fill diff, or change it completely, make sure you get the fill plug loose first before draining

Commonly when the seal goes bad, the bearing is too. Reusing a already crushed pinion spacer has never been a long term fix for me. IMHO, better to get the third entirely rebuilt.
