Leaking Front Driver's Side Axle Seal

I replaced the CV axles with aftermarket ones and new oem seals, when it was time to fill the axle with oil, it leaked completely out. I rebooted the oem axles and replaced seals again with new oem and the driver's side still has a leak. Leaves an approximate 4" circle on the ground every time I park the truck some where. What cohld I be doing wrong?

It is easy to damage the seals, when driving them in.

The seal doesn't have to get driven in too far to be seated correctly. The maximum depth is about right when you can put a straight-edge over the end of the diff tube and the projecting rubber lip on the seam just touches it. Any more and you could have seated the seal in too far, which can cause it to leak.

The aftermarket axle may be a slightly different diameter and leaking through the seal there- get a closer look as to where the seal is leaking from- at the race or axle.

2- Damaged seal
3- Axle not all the way in
4- Wrong axle (doubt it)
5- Wrong seal

I've been through similar issues trying to get an axle to seal. I found that you can actually put two seals on that side and it will leave the outboard seal flush to the end of the extension tube when you bottom them out. You can remove the sealing lip if you want to use the inner seal as a spacer. You get real good at tearing your front end apart chasing that leak.
