I dunno man, you've had so much Icon stuff break, I just don't trust any of their gear. Given all the stuff that's broken on you I've actually questioned whether I should keep running their wheels at this point.

You ran Miller Rock behind me. And I didn't even think Kelly Flats was that bad this year. That downhill section right after where it goes from Kelly Flats to Pingree Hill must have been bulldozed at some point because unlike last time it didn't require any line scouting or tire placement efforts. There wasn't any kind of abuse I witnessed on either trail which should have caused that kind of failure.
Probably broke it Friday on that hardcore Johnny Park Road run!

I’ll see your CEL and raise you a destroyed rear lower trailing arm

Thanks to all the homies at Slee. They had replacement parts in stock and able to get me in and had it swapped out before noon. Saved me from having to do another parking lot job.

Glad a code reader got you back on track for now
My man, we are a pair. I'm thinking we just don't leave each other's sight next year.

I'm gonna make a wild guess it's due to P0441 evap code (or related). You were boiling on Ironclads on Saturday.

(edited to add that our truck mileage is the same)🦎:rainbow:
Ditto.

Stats on my circuitous route to the LCDC (Chicago->Moab->The Maze->Moab->Ouray->Ft Collins->Chicago).

4125.3 miles this year, 11.5 MPG, 30.4 MPH average. That's unadjusted for tire size, so add 5% all around. The above works out to 135.7 hours of ass-in-seat time.

For those of you who see that speed and think I drive like a grandpa, I did 1010 miles Saturday night/Sunday to get home in 14:15, which resulted in an average speed on that leg of 70.8mph... and that time includes the time spent at gas stops and a quick lunch (which we ate in the truck). It's the 150 miles of single digit crawling that really hurts my average.

This year was without the trailer, so MPG was better than the typical 8-8.5, though 11.5 mpg means I still used 358.7 gallons. That's a lot of milk jugs being dumped into the 5.7. I think I spent $1203.27 on fuel, at least according to my credit card transactions, which means my average cost was $3.35 per gallon. Technically a tad less since I still have 4.5 gallons in the rotopax sitting on my roof, and I think I left a few cups worth on that rock at TOTW.

The really important stats from the trip though:
  1. Eight days wheeling (I think) with @TheGrrrrr
  2. Four days wheeling with @sdnative and his son
  3. Two fun days on Rimrocker and one full Alpine Loop run with @mcgaskins and @TheGrrrrr
  4. One awesome trip up TOTW with @indycole
  5. One exhausted @laserturbo91 crashing on the futon in our Airbnb for the night
  6. Two decent hits on my new Asfir skids, one self-tapping slider bolt head sheared off, and countless scrapes on my sliders and other various places I won't care to admit
  7. Three trails partially run by my son Gabe including the Maze Overlook, a short jaunt on Rimrocker, and an inaugural leader run for a portion of Kelly Flats on Saturday. Also more photos than I want to edit.
  8. Meeting more new LCDC enthusiasts than I can count
Thanks to @indycole, @codyaustin5, and probably more importantly their wives for helping to set this trip up yet again.

And once again I personally owe a huge thanks to Amory and the shop tech Brian with @sleeoffroad who managed to squeeze me into the shop last minute and sorted out in 24 hours so I could make the LCDC.

Icon isn’t making it easy to have faith in their products. The brand new rears had one side leak at a fitting for the remote resi. The wheels have held up fine though, compared to the suspend components.

External lubrication isn't a feature you're looking for in your shocks?

Has a Google drive been set up for pics? Can’t remember who set it up last time.

I haven't used Google Drive a ton, but I'm not sure how to upload or if it's in read only? Do I need to join it somehow before I can upload stuff?

It was read only, I just fixed the permissions. It should be good to go now.

A few shots from the days. I met new folks and saw some old friends. Can't thank yall enough for graciously allowing my buddy Baron to feel at home. Looking forward to next year already...

And, thank Goodness for Budbuilt sliders, skids and shock armor. No doubt I would have been in a bind.

Am I seeing a mangled lower shock guard? You broke a BB lower shock guard??? That’s impressive!
It is. And i.didnt notice till I did the mud removal and battle damage assessment today. The trail in which it happened is unknown but Miller is my guess. I went full send a couple times on that trail.

I've sent BB the pics and we spoke. New one will be on soon.
