"Trail Schedule Opens Saturday (6/26)

This is the final reminder that trail sign up via Sched opens Saturday, 6/26/21 at 9am PT. You’ll be able to preview the schedule up until we open it it for editing. We highly recommend that you visit Sched to preview to ensure that you’re able to log in. Let us know if you have any issues."

Once we have our trails "selected" do we have to do anything to "submit" them?

Nope, just select the trails. You can shift stuff around up and even during the event.
Sweet. Thanks for the info, and all your time organizing this Cole (along with the other usual suspects). Looking forward to the event!

Wow, the first Black Bear Pass trail on Friday filled up fast. Like within 60 seconds. Just missed out.
Did get in on all of the trails we wanted to do.
Hope to find some people coming in early that might want to run something on Tue or Wed. Otherwise might go to Silverton to ride the train to Durango or find some blue ribbon streams to float a line.

Thanks for all of the work putting this together. Looking forward to a wonderful week out of the 115 degree heat.

Cole, will we need to check in on Wednesday, or can we show up to first trail on Thursday?

My wife and I will be getting there sometime on Monday. Would love to do some exploring on Tuesday and Wednesday.

last year I remember that Sched allowed seeing who else had signed up for the trails but I don't see that this year. Is that still possible and maybe I'm just not seeing some button or something?

I am taking the second BBP run on Friday and would like to connect with people wanting to do Imogene back to Ouray that day.

We definitely encourage people to make an appearance on Wednesday to pick up t-shirts, swag, and to be party to any last minute announcements. Otherwise, we'll do our best to get your stuff to someone else on your trail for the first day (usually the leader).

Ah, yes, good point. I just updated the settings.

As a novice to the west coast and mountain passes (well in the US at least) as well as finally making it this far in the Vacation trip planning phases due to life kicking in; I look forward to finally meeting up with you all and look forward to the camaraderie of like minded folks. figured Id turn this opportunity into an epic road trip. Hope to see you all there. Some bucket list items to check off the block.

Torn between IP group 2 or IP group 1. Figured if I'm new to the area, mountains & elevation I'd hit IP2; that way when we return and I'm beat it would be easier to crash at 4J+1+1 that much sooner. :)

Appreciate all the hard work and organization you are all putting into this event. TY

I’m all set with my schedule. Busy fixing the rig for the upcoming trip. Found the infamous crack on the radiator last week. I won’t risk it with 5000+ miles trip, so replacing it now. While taking apart, new water pump, belt, pulley & tensioner will be refreshed too.

Will be in town on Wed. As usual, I’ll hit CO ASAP and hit a few trail before arrived Ouray.

I would be up for that. I am on that same run.

Imogene is a trail where people haven't fully understood the right of way, but in reality right of way depends. The default is the set of rules below, but if the vehicle has a pull off and the down hill doesn't, they should pull off. There is a section of Imogene below Tommy Boy with the shelf road that can only fit 1 vehicle, so there needs to be some compromise at times. Best to talk to the other vehicle. I have seen people get upset because they thought they had the right of way and they didn't because they were going downhill and they also had a pull off

So when asked who has the right of way, I will say all things being equal the vehicle going uphill, but it sometimes that just isn't feasible and when its not, talk to the other driver and work something out

On a hill, the vehicle going downhill should yield.
On all other terrain, move to a wide enough place in the
road to pass safely. May require backing up.
