I’m heading out early Monday morning and driving through till I get to Lincoln NE. Finishing up the drive Tuesday. If that matches you LMK
Thanks I will let you know if I decide to leave on Sunday or Monday.

My son and I will be arriving Sunday. Anyone doing any pre-event trail running Monday thru Wednesday? Since I'm a newbie, I'm planning on running the easy to moderate trails, but open to some of the more challenging ones if there are others.
I will be arriving on either Monday or Tuesday, leaning towards Monday right now. I would be interested in running some trails early. This will be the first time out with the 200 and over 30 years since my last time wheeling.

I’ve been silence as my plan in limbo. While driving last week, my snorkel head got lost. I’m waiting for a replacement part to arrive this week (begging fedex or USPS guy).

Then, I will head out solo toward Colorado spring CO prior arriving to Ft collin on wed night. Plan to be a tourist, overland inside the vehicle for days and maybe hit a few trails. Just want to make sure the rig is ready. If my plan work out, I will be doing Webster pass, possible red cone. If anyone interest to join, let reach out. @RobW0 @m200

Although Title Sponsor, why is Slee missing from the 200 LCDC’s Event Agenda?

By now people attending are probably wondering why we are listed as the title sponsor but missing from any events. Our commitment to Cody and the crew to be the main sponsor was made way before the Covid situation came about. With Cody’s decision to go ahead, we tried to work around the limitations we have and still contribute as best we can.

I want to start by saying that we are still fully supporting the event both financially and with personnel. Jackson has spent personal time carefully scouting and planning an exciting route to lead participants on during LCDC. Jackson and Amory are also leading three straight days of Trails with two nights of camping to add value to the event while adhering to the States Executive Orders.

As much as we would have liked to buy everyone dinner, and to a do big blow out final event like we have done in all the years past, being a Colorado licensed company we simply cannot do it this year.

I can’t ask my employees to possibly jeopardize their health and safety, to attend gatherings, no matter how informal, that is possibly in contradiction with state and county regulations currently.

I can also not afford to jeopardize our business license, and by implication the livelihood of all my employees, by being associated with said events in the case of the state or county investigating a gathering in a public space that does not adhere to the regulations. We are threatened with losing our business license for as little of an infraction of not requiring customers to wear mask that enter our building. Unfortunately, Colorado does not play nice with these situations as has been clearly shown by the actions they took against Bandimere raceway.

I hope the organizers and participants understand this and please believe me that we did not come to this decision easily. We love being associated with LCDC, we love the event, the participants and the idea of the Destination Club that allows like-minded people to gather in different parts of the country to enjoy the outdoors and the shared passion for the 200 series.

We hope that 2021 will bring a changed situation were we can return and participate fully as we have done in the past.

Look like I will be leading some trails. Looking forward for the event and meet everyone.
Awesome! Bummer about the snorkle. I've seen folks use a plastic jack-o-lantern during October, might be tough to find this time of year, but I'm sure you'll manage :).

Planning on heading up early Wednesday the 29th, hope to reach the Kelly Flats campground around noon for a first-come, first serve tent spot. PM me if you're targeting the same place - especially if you arrive early and can update on campsite availability!

Bringing my 5 yo son plus a few camp toys (slackline, fishing gear, 2x4 jenga blocks, flimsy cornhole, etc..) so feel free to stop by and say 'hi'!

Keeping trails easy this time around (but really enjoyed Ballard on a pre-run a few weeks back!) so looking forward to seeing everyone at one of the many events as well as the trails!

Well folks, between possible exposure (awaiting tests) and a terrible bout with gout (at age 35 no less) I have to bow out. I hope someone that was really hoping to go can now enjoy this open spot.

Sorry to hear. I had gout in my big toe about 4 or 5 years ago and it was not fun. Hope the other thing comes back negative.
