yep dizzy is fitted in right at TDC cylinder 1 at compression stroke.

how many degree's off is the timing, what does the FSM say is correct? if you can't find a correct timing setting within @ 6 degree's, you are probably off a tooth timing gear, if everything else is correct.
Yes - it was the timing chain not installed correctly - the mechanic at that time who checked and confirmed that the timing was ok, was wrong.
timing chain was installed and the engine was timed correctly - it ran very nicely afterward.
after some time its ECU malfunctioned (leaking caps), which was then replaced and its performance got even better.

No errorshow did you determine the ECU malfunctioned (the leaking caps?), did you get an error code?
