Hi all,
Just spoke to Martin, and he wants to get one more run in before River Shiver. Unless someone really feels like doing another next week.
Any way we were thinking of going to Chilliwak, and (according to weather man) some snow might fall high up, so we are hoping to find it.
Details:
Meet at Huskey gas station in Chilliwak, main road by the big mall, at 9:00 on Sunday.
Derek bring your mom and the Jeep.
Cheers,
Deny

driving home today I saw the top of blue mountain coated in snow, and the weather man is calling for more tonite. So we should hit some snow tomorow.
Stevie boy, heres your chance to test out your truck before the big run, see you there tommorow.
Cheers,
Deny

oh ya,
I think the exit of the huskey is Lickman road, correct me if I'm wrong.

wheeling is out of the question
I'll be taking delivery of my 1977 FJ45 with 84,000kms
not too bad of shape, good tailgate, 8274 winch, split rims with original rubber still on them
It's been sitting in a barn for the last 10 years!!!
I did manage to put weather stripping around my upper tailgate on my FJ40, those gaps were pretty big. I need to fill a few holes with nuts and bolts then change all my fluids
Hopefully that's all I need to do be fore I leave

All I can say is that trip was just awsome! Chains rule! I'll post a few pics after I get my film developed. Me and Martin hit up to 16in of snow, and it was comming down like a blizzard when we left, looks like winter wheeling is still around for a bit.

Check

No, these are not the pictures from this weekend, they are simply here for your viewing enjoyment, my practice posting pics, and to see how scanned pictures turn out. I'll get the real run photos up soon.
Cheers,
Deny
PS steve, you should have come, was an excellent warm up for snow wheeling.

Quick question to all those technical gurus: How do I get the size down of the picture I am trying to post without cutting it down into a tiny picture without all the extrra scenery and without blurring it up by shrinking it?
Thanks,
Deny
Info: to get the above pictures, I scanned, edited on paint by cuting it down and removing the cruiser surroundings. Please do not laugh, as I am a computer dummy.

those are really cool shots of your Cruiser
I did get to snow wheel(drive) Sunday. My FJ45 was in abby. I'll post pics of the FJ45 today. It even has the factory AM radio in the dash and perfect rubber floor mats
plus the added bonus of mouse poo, brown crunchy stuff, bee hives (lots of them!!!!)

Dibs on the mouse poo i'll pay extra for brown crunchy stuff
I have no use for the bee hives right now but since you got lots of them I'll take a couple cause I may need them later.

Jim,
you don't need to call dibs on the crunchy stuff, check your hair and you might find some! Skid ;)
On a serious note, two more inches of hair growth and you'll look like the guy in your avitar!

Chains Rule

Well, here I go, bare with me, cause I am having some issues with my scanner, I will post all the smaller pictures now and send the bigger ones to Derek to get resized, but hopefully these will give you a sence of what we did. Did I mention that Chains rule. We had just got to snow level, and noticed tracks from the day before, but now it was Ice, and Martin was having trouble infront of me on the first snow covered crossditch. when I stopped, and tried going again, all four tires were spinning helplessly. So we chained up and no problems getting up.

I had trouble getting up this steep switch back with just one set of chains on, cause my front was sliding down the slope. So once I finally made it to the top, I put on the front chains and backed down to try again, and I got to tell you the rest of the day, I could let the truck idle up anything and it just kept going. We reached almost 2feet of snow, and my truck felt like a tank. Chains Rule!

Martin rippin sh!t up

Last shot of me going up steepest and deepest climb of the day, which got us into this cool basin. You can notice my diff already dragging in the snow.

chains suck get a locker poor man!!

jk looks like fun I wish my truck had tires on it so I could play

Dan
