Very cool business....I take it it is yours?

How many TLC's do you guys have for rent and is it looking like you will be able to keep them rented?

Hi

We hope to have them rented. Have a lot of inquiries from our European friends. We will also be offering guided and instructional trips for those who want to try out gear and learn overland tricks.

SUVs rent for $175 per day plus motel/hotel ($200 and up)

They definitely rent them out in S.A, Europe, New Delhi and AU.

Hoping for the best. All rigs will be similarly equipped. Sure created lots of interest from the manufacturers side of the house.

It will be good for introducing the whole overlanding experience to more North Americans outside of the obvious crowds.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Any plans for an 80 in the fleet?

Great Idea. Good luck!

Thanks guys! The build is going strong. Today getting the ARB bumps, steps and snorkel put in. Also new IPF headlights and the spot/driving combo.

Just ordered rear bumper kits from Fourrunner - local guy in Rigsby, ID (also got his battery cables for the 60)

Kurt - will call you tomorrow about the Helton hot water system. Thanks for all your input - cant wait to chat with you tomorrow.

Just spoke to the folks at expedition portal - signing up as a vendor so no more shameless plugs! Also spoke with Woody for my MUD vendor app - so no more shameless plugs here too!

Things are well in the Hole. Lots of snow! Come on out!

80 Series

Any plans for an 80 in the fleet?

Definitely! Just waiting to find that right 80. I need more automatics in the TOY barn.

Thanks!

Great Idea, Just remember if a customer does a bad shift or rests his foot on the clutch while driving$$$$$$$$$$$ You cant control the drivers when you are not around.

This is why I am making the waiver and liability form crystal clear for damages. I have looked at how they do it for Vanagon rentals in the US and LC rentals in AU and SA.

Thanks for the feedback. Working on as ironclad an agreement as possible without scaring off clients. Luckily, I do not have to re-invent the wheel on this since there are many things to copy in the rental car industry.

Best Regards!

HWY22... ever thought of doing wilderness medical seminars? Sent you a PM, but the box is full again. Must be all the interest this has stirred up.

Sherman's new tent

Gary Kardum cutting the rack to fit the autohome Air Top tent onto Sherman; Alex diving into the new tent; Redeem heading out in Sherman for the 900 mile drive to Jackson, Wyoming. Best wishes on the new business Redeem. Glad Sherman found a good home.
