On mobile will try to add more later.

Wow, 13k more for the First Edition. Seems way too high for me, but good for them. I'm sure they won't have a problem selling. Toyota wants some of that dealer markup.

Land Cruiser has received an EPA-estimated 23 MPG combined rating which is a higher combined MPG rating than any previous iteration.

I’m guessing the Land Cruiser trim + Premium package is going to fill that gap. Which I’m afraid is going to outnumber the non premiums, similar to the 4Runner TRD Off-Road vs Off-Road Premium. Hope I’m wrong!

Updated to 23 mpg (22/25/23) (22 city for dirt roads is not too shabby) for the 250 turbo hybrid with (disappointing) 17.9 gallon fuel tank. Payload is 1687 for 1958.

Glad to see that you can get the Land Cruiser trim without a moonroof. Also sad to see that the First Edition is standard with a moonroof.

I'm tempted to get the Land Cruiser trim for the SDM as it'd be easier to swap in cloth seats that the SDM at some point..

Seems that the premium option limits the color choice in the configurator; no Trail Dust or Heritage Blue with Premium select. *Thumbs Down*
If the configurator is accurate, it looks like there are only three color options for the 1958 trim. Luckily, one of them is Ice Cap (which is what I'm hopin to be offered).

Thanks for the link @summitfever I noticed the 1958 does not come with or have the option for roof rails. You have to get the Roof Rack ($1400) to get the rails. I hope this is just an oversight off the developers.

Unpopular opinion: I think it'll follow the trajectory of the Gladiator truck - market premiums for a few months maybe a year and then stack up on lots and sell under MSRP from then out. I'm not sure the value proposition is there compared to a TRD OR Tacoma similarly equipped at $46k (non-hybrid) or low 50's with hybrid combined with being released right into the heart of the great reset in car pricing. It's not bad on MSRP. Just not sure the market is strong right now for this target price range when Toyota has other in-house options that are pretty comparable for less money. The 4Runner is going to be pretty interesting to see what comes out and how they price it in comparison.

I suspect we'll see LC250's by end of 2025 selling at invoice plus $1k. So - maybe $53-54k for a base model.

Yes, now that this piece of the puzzle has dropped all eyes are focused on the 6th Gen 4Runner for its styling, slightly smaller size, same or similar engines, same Tahara build, all of that for $15-40K less than the 250 or GX.

From what we’ve seen of the new Tacoma, the SUV 4Runner version risks to be a real success for Toyota. As for its styling this new 4Runner might have a little 300 series GR Sport vibe to it!

Interesting way to look at it. I know I was considering a TRD Pro 5th gen 4R The last couple of weeks, but the price of the land cruiser trim has me at "why would I not just get the LC250 for less than 10k difference". Comparing tacoma to LC250 isn't really accurate since the Tacoma has always been cheaper than even a 4runner.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the 4runner. They don't have a lot of wiggle room to make the higher optioned 4runners appealing over a LC250 or Tacoma.

The 1958 is oddly placed to me, I'll agree there. I don't think it really appeals to anyone except enthusiasts. Paying $57k to have manual seats and a blank space filler around your touch screen will turn most people off. Including myself. I don't expect it to be a popular trim.
