Yeah, but I didn’t help since you weren’t there.

Yeah but that 6 hour stereo install was free that way. Count your blessings when they come.....

6 weeks between pics! I didn't notice how flat the stock springs were when I bought it. Just wish I put on the hubcaps for the bottom pic. Guess I need to leave some stuff off so there appears to be progress for when we get to the final before/after shots.

We got a front double Cardan shaft tin great condition from Classic Cruisers that did not need any joints which is a nice positive. Those guys are solid @Ratboy

I took the measurements off my truck with the same drivetrain the Limo will be getting and had the rear shaft shortened and new joints installed. CV shaft was lengthened.

Also Mike grabbed a new FJ60 PS pump for the coming 2F

Parts like this will start stacking up until it’s time to go.....

In my opinion the Warthog looks much better without the rear tire rack. Looks like you lean a bit to the passenger side though, so could you move spare to driver's side? Or is it just the way you are parked?

It leans driver side. Just the pic. Also I’ve got about 45 gallons of gas in it right now. Sitting heavy.

The Limo is back in the shop. Time for phase 3 ......

Those of you that follow the Warthog saga know I tossed some 35’s on it. I was planning on using 3 of my Maxxis Razr tires on my FJ40 trailer, one for Warthog spare and one for my 80 spare.

Mike asked me about the tires and seeing that I really only need 3 tires on the trailer and 2 of his old KM2s are bad it made sense for me to sell him my 5 tires and OEM wheels and take his old KO2s for my trailer.

These Maxxis have been very very good tires by the way. The wear is very even. I probably had about 5000 total on them and had just rotated the spare in about 1000 miles back.

Sooooo, I taped them up (J Mac card trick would not work) and added a fresh coat of Rust Oleum Smoke Gray all around

Next I uninstalled the spare holder and had to relocate the winch in order for the bar to be able to be inserted. I’m not sure what model this crossmember and winch came from but it was not the correct one for this pig so more modifications were in order.

I’m happy now though because the tire fits nicely and it does not flop Around under there like it did the way I had it mounted the first go around with spacers

Finally, I finally got the last two 3rd member nuts on. We must have dinged two of the studs going in with this 3rd member of unknown origin because I could just NOT get the nuts started using my normal tricks.
I ended up cutting the tips off and hand filing them until I could get a couple of stainless nuts to eat. PITA

Might be a little hard to tell from just the picture but I cut a different angle on my Ford towers to push the tops in away from the tires, wouldn’t hurt to do these if you ever plan to run a 35X12.5 tire on this one.

No 105 shaft on the 80 box, so I better not run 35s or there will be dire consequences!

I don’t pretend to know anything about the Toyota boxes but I’ve been hammering on a Scout box for several year now with 35” tires without issue. I would assume a Toyota box would be similar.
