I'm guessing you bought these individually, I expect they (3) would have come in a kit with instructions possibly. Have you removed the interior trim to see if there are any existing welded nuts? I have never seen these fitted (in OZ), maybe ask on the international forum if you get no responses here. Some of the UAE or Philippine guys may have them. Buy the way, a picture is worth a 1000 words here for those who don't know what you're talking about.
There was a thread in the 80 section a while ago about the same, OEM rear steps, with pics and all.
There was never a "kit" and I cannot recall what the consensus(sp) was as to whether you'll need additional reinforcements or not, other than the steps. I believe there was a piece that went behind the sheet metal, but not sure if it served any meaningful purpose or not.
I believe "gotmud" had a set for the 80 in possession and was responsible for getting the PN's "loaded" in the N. American Toyota parts distribution system.
I forgot about that thread!
I did have two ladders for the 100/470, but have sold the 470(Cygnus) one months ago! (Edited the post).
Not that it would help the OP in this case, I still do have the other OEM ladder that says "Land Cruiser" and have since acquired a couple of the very sturdy JAOS ladder as well. (I usually do not like JAOS, but this ladder is a-OK!)
Anyway, sorry for the minor hi-jack and the best of luck with the installation of the steps.
I vaguely remember someone posting the different EPC diagrams with and w/o the steps, but just cannot recall if there was a difference or not!
