Was looking into a ladder for the lx470. Up until today I’ve only seen the Gobi or fabrication as the only two options. Today I stumbled across this one. Anyone have any experience with this ladder?

Another good option stateside.

I like that one but I don’t have a steel bumper. After looking at the video on Gamiviti, I think I’ll just go with the Moki Ascent door step. Seems like it will serve the purpose of getting me access to the roof.

After camping again with our giant RTT I'm coming to accept that I'm going to need a proper ladder, and it's looking more like I'm going to have to custom-fabricate/design something myself to fit my needs...

I got a step of similar design to that Moki Ascent off amazon a while back, but looks like it's not available currently, and due to the latch design looks like it's a lot less stable than the Moki design.

I like how slim that Gamiviti ladder is, and at $250 it might be worth purchasing over building (but I would need driver's side and not passenger, due to how my tent is set up), but I'll work on getting something sketched up. I'm about to do a custom 2nd swing-out (driver's side) on my coastal offroad rear bumper with the goal of having a swing-out cooking area. Guess I'll see where this goes.

those look VERY similar to the ladders my CVT tent uses... pretty cool. For my use, I am looking for something fixed to the vehicle (for stability) that I can use to get my tent open. The one I have is the full length of the roof rack and is a bear to try and get unfolded, which my brain always minimizes until it's getting dark and we're two hours later than expected arriving to the camp site...
