Finally got to work on my new 80 (Christmas gift to myself), I love this thing. Now that Christmas and new years are finally done I get to play and started on fluids and trouble shooting the lockers. After reading through many posts here and using the paperclip test I found the front transfer case and 4L switches not to be working. After removing and cleaning the front switch, it came back to life .
Now I get to do the same to the 4L switch right? Super easy ! What? can't get to it?
Tried with a couple of different wrenches, crescent, pliers, fingers, teeth, nothing. cant get a bite on the hex head because of location. Now, I don't have the experience that most of you guys have and my tool set needs a lot of growing to do but, dumb question. How did you get this thing off? do I have to drop the transfer case? is there a super special wrench that I'm missing?

thank you guys, here are some pictures of the luxury beast (like to show it off;))

I think I was able to get a socket on mine to break it loose. There was not much room but once I got it loose it came out easy.

No doubt it is very tight. I used an open ended wrench on mine. One of those open ratcheting wrenches would be ideal with a bend on it.
