Looks awesome

here's a zoomed in view of the bumper to give ya a better lookski!View attachment 1155116

Love the bumper. Kreiten...do you know if that driver posts here?

I am really curious to know more about this bumper.

Maybe you know some of the answers to these questions?

Like... How thick is the metal used? Could it support the weight of the vehicle if departure off a boulder leads to this? -The rear bumper from sleep was THICK and easily could. This bumper looks thinner...so just wondering.

I'd love to ask him about install details etc., as the fabricator indicates he doesn't supply installation instructions or patterns to cut the bumper etc.

Is the driver a regular here?

Thanks again! And fantastic photos, by the way!

Super cool dude and posts on here all the time @Willy beamin He will have all those answers and more! thanks for the props on the pics, hope you can make it next year!!!

PM me if you're in the hunt for a rear bumper and I'll send you the contact info - thanks for the compliments.
And yes - @steenh is on order. I stop by the shop once a week to check it out as he may be doing something a little different than mine.
Anything goes with custom

Hey there...

Somehow I lost track of you...even though you are the one who gave me his contact details! Doh! :)

I had some Q's for you re your bumper.

Can you describe what you did to it beyond what the fabricator/welder did?
-I mean things like mounting issues, fitment, bumper cutting, sensors (he said you'd had some issues with those), and what look like backup lights (?) that you might have added?

-Did you powder-coat the bare bumper? Or paint?
-Were trim pieces included, or did you come up with those?

Anything you could share would be super helpful.

Like many...I've not been thrilled to shell out for the ARB bumper...which is super expensive, and seems rather droopy in the butt-ocks to me.
You bumper seems to offer the best departure angle I've seen on a 200...

Thanks for ANY info! I really do appreciate it.

sent you a PM
thanks

Wow. Curious what made all the scratches. Surely not rocks, or they'd be more indented...right? I don't see heavy scratches in your other photos...so wondering what caused these, and how deep.

Cruiser got bogged in sand with the right side in a ditch leaning against a bush, as I was on my own, no way out outher than winching forward. I've buffed, polished and waxed the cruiser numerous times so it hardly shows in pictures but you can still see the scratches in daylight

Ah. I figured it was tree limbs or something...but it didn't seem like much of that was on the road...

On the other hand... Scratches automatically award it Non-Mall-Status.... :)))

How many more do you have in your back pocket? They just keep coming!

Two comments to this thread:

1. This should be considered porn! Cruiser-Porn that is...
2. THIS is what a Land Cruiser brochure should look like! Not some silly thing going down a city street or flat dirt road!

AWESOME!!!
