Does anyone have and be willing to loan me the SST 09634-60013 tool for the knuckle bearing preload/shim calculation as shown in the FSM? Upon disassembly there appears to be no method to the madness on my existing shims......one knuckle was missing the bottoms all together.

Why don't you just go buy a $10-15 fish weighing scale and measure the pre-load on the bearings via turning foot lbs? Pretty easy and cheap to do. The scale also works for wheel bearings and I am sure other bearings as well.

wish it was that easy but the former owner has made a mess of the knuckles with respect to the shims. I want to make sure the axle shaft is centered.......and that requires the tool.

A fellow mudder has sent me his on loan......thanks so much guys!
look at the top of this page...see the clubhouse area tab...go there...then look for the eastern section and then see which club might be close to you. Most of the clubs go in and buy some of the shop tools or one of the members normally has one or two.
We got him covered and it should be at his place tomorrow.
