Thanks for the FYI weak-link may have to look into getting theses since I'm never going to be able to get Longs :crybaby:

Looks good, I am running 37s too, on stock birfs... How do you like the 4.88s? I am thinking of getting regeared and doing birfs at the same time. Would you go for the inner axles too, or are the stocks pretty good too? What about hub gears - should I go with Bobby's, or are the stockers pretty good?

I dig the 4:88's but kinda wonder what 5:29's would be like with the the overdrive

It's hard to say, all depends on how you wheel and where. If you only use your front ARB when you need it and your not trying to do full throttle assaults on the waterfall on backdoor. I'd say your good.

I'm not planning on upgrading the inners, I'll carry a set of spare's hose clamped under the frame somewhere. But with what I want my 60 to do and the ARB I don't plan on having any problems with the inners or the the UM-06's.

And the fact that I only use my front ARB maybe 2% of the time I'm not to worried about the hub gears, I'm more worried about the stock dowls.

damn.. Guess I'll order a set soon then..

Timing for me on this sux. $$ I plan on running a 35" max tire and wheeling moderate trails with my weekend warrior. As you speculate, they should be enough for me, as well.

On my truck, i am geared well lower than stock with my 34s and 4.88s. Its been a while since i drove my truck on the road (:frown:) but as i recall when my speedo says 70 im running around 62-63, so you do the math. 5.29s would be way too low unless you are running 37s or bigger.

Yeah, I've got the 37s, but 5.29s might be too high... 'Course, my speedometer says 60, I'm going 73 ish...

ugh... wish i wasnt plannin on 38's, on top of that i have a heavy foot... must be cause i have big feet:rolleyes:

I don't know off the bottom of my head b/c it wasn't something I ever cared to do. I'll have to check. His volume is low, so sometimes he has several sets and sometimes he doesn't have any.

i just got a set of the birfs. nice parts, great price. i'm stoked!

PS: i have a high pinion ford kingpin 60 front for sale for 41200.
