Do you know if that CJ buggy has a build thread somewhere? My buddy is building one and would like to see more on it.

Being partial to 40s, I prefer yours of course. Awesome rig!

My wife will not let me sell it even if I wanted to. Prior to this latest build, I had considered selling it because I was tired of having to drive it with a light foot. She said no way.. So I said, then something needs to change.. Yeah.. I have a good wife...

The purple one with the narrowed rocks? Search for a thread in Pirate's general section started by Rock Mafia called something like "Narrowed rockwell buggy". The owner of that is pulling the 4.3 V6 for a 5.3 LSx now

7 month update.. well... here's a vid from Harlan from 2 weeks ago.. Harlan big perm you had it - Putfile.com (This is what it took to make it Harlan Big Perm Mark 0308 - Putfile.com )

My only failure to date was on that obstacle.. A slightly loose hose clamp on the trans. cooler let it puke out a bunch of fluid. Well that, and punching a hole in my engine oil pan at Big Dogs, which was fixed with WaterWeld and is still holding. There's a rock race in Uwharrie Forest coming up in May, so we'll see if I can break anything then. ( American Wheeler presents - Uwharrie 4x4Cross FESTIVAL 2008 )

I'm still messing with the valving in my coil-overs, I'm not totally happy yet.

All in all, this was the best thing I've done. I'm really happy with everything, and it's a comfortable, roomy, hard to break, capable trail rig now.. and people have FINALLY stopped saying that the cup holders are the coolest part of the rig.. ;p
