Kalua pork, if you haven’t tried it… you’re missing out.
When Pua’a Tua’a went 80 frame, I ended up with a 1974 FJ55 roller…
I also have the following pieces that I was going to use on that build before we went “big”:
I’m sure I’m forgetting a ton.
End result should be a true driver.

When Pua’a Tua’a went 80 frame, I ended up with a 1974 FJ55 roller…
I also have the following pieces that I was going to use on that build before we went “big”:
- built/locked/discs 60-series axles that I bought from @greenbeast
- a new dobinsons FJ55 suspension kit I bought from @samc2447
- a new h55f / split case that I bought from @Pigeaten last year. Sitting at @samc2447’s shop
- A set of Sumitomo 3:1 lo-range gears for a split case, also at Steve’s shop
- a 79 body that I bought from @greenbeast that he got from @Pigeaten, still in Tulsa
- @FJ60Cam has a nearly finished Mosley “cop motor” 4.4L 2F (with the Carillo rods and pistons) for me
- The truck Jon sold me doesn’t have a front bench, but I had a set of Scheelmann seats left over from the abandoned 40 built that gave Tua’a the drivetrain also at @samc2447’s shop (they were stranded in Colombia.)
I’m sure I’m forgetting a ton.
End result should be a true driver.
