Cruiser outfitters always seems to carry good inventory of Nitro gears- they’ve been out of the 4.88 9.5 rears and 8” reverse cut fronts for a while. Ive been checking their site to monitor availability.I have an order for gears 4.88’s and ARB front and rear lockers at Nitro. They have never returned an email but at least pick up the phone. They told me late January for gears which I really don’t trust at this point. Anybody else here any other updates from dealers possibly?
Thanks for the info. I am thinking of canceling my order. I don't feel comfortable having a couple thousand dollars just out there with no ETA and what sounds like poor service and communication from Nitro.Cruiser outfitters always seems to carry good inventory of Nitro gears- they’ve been out of the 4.88 9.5 rears and 8” reverse cut fronts for a while. For 4.88 gears direct from Nitro I was told Oct, then Nov, then Dec. Nitro sent me a list of incoming PO’s and none of the dates have held up.
I am starting to think that this is something more than a series of delays due logistical ocean shipping challenges. They might have very well shifted production to a new supplier and they’re trying to get the product ramped up in production.
Idk- any of it is speculation since the communication from Nitro is nil.
read post #12 of this thread.Anyone have experience with their upper control arms? I was thinking about ordering a pair
I saw that after making my initial comment, thanks. I just canceled my order and ordered the Dobinsons from exit off-road.read post #12 of this thread.

Call him and let him know there's a thread on Mud blowing them upMik Freeman has been my point of contact at JT's (nitrogear/justdifferentials) and he's picked up the phone pretty much any time I've called.
This is one of many threads over the last year or so. Lots of others on other forums too.Call him and let him know there's a thread on Mud blowing them up
I'm sure he's plenty aware of the shortage of parts and backlog of orders. He's a desk guy, we need the number for the metal foundry guy.Call him and let him know there's a thread on Mud blowing them up
I have a contact I can pm you that at least helped me cancel my order (with proof) but no luck with a refund yet.if its a shortage issue they shouldnt take orders or peoples money till they have the parts.
i have an order in also that is stagnant, no return emails or calls, there own customer service people cant even get ahold of them.
i will be starting the process of a refund with my credit union, no use trying to contact these guys anymore.
Any news on which parts arrived? I am about to order UCA to go with my ironman lift should i go through them or is there another trusted vendor? They are cheaper than others. To resurrect this thread, Just differentials haven't changed, maybe worse.
You place an order for a suspension kit, which states 4-6 weeks of shipping, and then you hear nothing for weeks. Then eventually a few parts arrive, but you call to confirm the remaining parts and finally get someone on the phone after multiple tries and they state "oh, 20 weeks out". What the F?
Try to cancel, the order, and the voicemail is full, so you call back and are redirected to the line with a full voicemail. Walk or run, there are better companies with the same or better equipment that provide some real-time answers.
If anyone at Nitro or JD can get back to me, that would be great.....
