Hi all,

Just purchased a 2016 with just over 105k miles from a Porsche dealership ironically….guess they traded it for a cayenne. As a 911 owner, I wouldn’t touch one of those even though they drive great. Will attach a few pics. A part of me was very worried about a 100k mile no warranty car and spending an amount where I could probably get a new Highlander…..but I love land cruisers and the 200 should serve us well for many years!

Car is a 2 owner which was leased new, then sold as a CPO car. Lived its life in central Illinois and Indiana but the frame and undercarriage are very acceptable, definitely will be spraying it as soon as it has a few things done. Besides the typical steering wheel wear, good services done and was taken care of.

Looking at the service history the last few years, the following has been performed, I’ll obviously leave out oil changes. Pads have 5-6mm

3/25- 4 new Yokohama Geolander HT tires put on by dealer
1/25 103k- driver door lock actuator
12/24 102k- air filter
6/24 95k- drive belt, battery, cabin filter
1/24 90k- spark plugs
8/22 69k- trans fluid exchange
2020- trans software update

I was planning on doing the following things:

1-brake flush
2-water pump and thermostat….also check radiator
3- power steering fluid
4-transfer case and diff fluid

Thanks to everyone on here, have a great Sunday

Gray is a great color. How does it feel compared to your 100?

We need a pic of the 911 too!!

I'm loving my 2016 after coming from a 100 series. Maintenance list looks good!

Don't forget to take care of your KDSS valve too!

That is a nice truck, especially with that color combo.

Consider greasing the driveshafts, they are overlooked by almost everyone not on MUD.

My 997 is getting a new engine from FSI as we speak, looking forward to that upgrade.

I am 2 years short. 24 months. "Marcus I was this close"....

you are welcome

it is my pleasure to steer people to the right 200

@77pantera is also a member of the new 16+ club
Yes, it's a great club to be in. To think, at some point I was actually considering a 250. Yikes.

Very nice unit mezger996, very similar situation to mine, although mine was traded into a BMW dealership instead.
Hell, mine too has four brand new geolander's on it! I'd love some 285/65's AT's but may as well use these stock size geolander's up first.

Thank you 😊

I assume this is the old version radiator?

That's the new style radiator.

I might be wrong. See my post below. Looks like the angle of the photo is hiding the angle in the front where the crack generally occurs.

Oh sweet! How can you tell, the part number? I was trying to figure it out but got lost. Thanks!

Unless the angle of the photo is fooling me (quite possible), it looks to be the the new shape of the little relief box. The old has a 90 degree, .5 centimeter drop towards the front of the vehicle.

Here's a picture of the old one along with the emerging crack, courtesy @gocougs (was the first one I found).

EDIT - to add this photo of the new design:

Thank you! And thank you for pushing me to do so in previous posts :)
Funny, the Toyota dealer is just down the road and I see soooo many 250s just sitting
There seems to be a lot of low mileage used 250's for sale also......

as you wish
