Not to long ago I sold my rolled fj60 to a guy in Salt Lake City. I then searched for another. I was planning on purchasing another 60 but ended up buying this 62 instead. It seems to be pretty good. The tires on it are a little bit too big and they rub a little but I'll be putting my old ones back on once I'm done with the rims. Oh and I have a couple of questions. First, there is a noise, kind of a knocking/grinding noise comeing from the front when it is in four wheel drive(just when I turn really sharp). Also, what would I have to do to put a 60 series grill and headlights on a 62. I know its been done but I'm not sure what to do. Any responses would be much apprieciated. Thanks.

Congrats on the 62
Not sure about the grinding noise...birfeilds maybe?
Search for that 60 grill/headlight conversion its been discussed and done before, but since I have a 60 I haven't looked into it, round eyes are cool for sure!

I am currently doing the swap on my 62, you need a 60 grille, headlight buckets, valance, and rad support for it to work.

4 squares 4 sure

Put the time/money elsewhere.

Agreed, do the square to round swap when you run out of other maintenance items or upgrades.

Tires look good. What size are they?

Nice ride, the popping is probably the birfs. The best way to get round headlights is to buy a sixty as a second vehicle.....(I wish that I could afford a second one anyway)

x - again, i'd get your birfs rebuilt, tune up, the tires you want and many other goodies before you tear into the front grille. it's a 62, just leave it that way! 4 squares are a good thing.

You no likey the 4 squares???
