I did some searching, but did not find an answer. I have a Sat Radio button, but no Sat Radio. Is there a simple solution to get this added to the factory media system?I assume it's just a module to plug into the system?
Does the preview channel play? If so you just gotta activate it.
Turn to station 0 on the sat radio and it will display your radio number. Go to Siriusxm.com and sign up.

the button is say "AM - SAT", but does not do anything but AM. I am assuming there is some sat module that needs to be added??

~143k ... Still a youngling.
Need to buy the sat radio module. And then pay the subscription. Not worth it. Sound quality is terrible. Just get a subscription to an internet radio service and use the AUX port and your phone.

My 08 has the same SAT button and it does nothing. Must be missing the module. Personally though, I like accessing my Sirius content via their phone/tablet app. Many stations allow you a lot more tools on the phone compared with a standard receiver. I can listen to shows from much earlier in the day...go back hours...create custom music stations on the fly, and tweak each station to skew content toward my preferences. Pretty slick. These features rely on cellular though...but for day to day and most parts of most trips, everything is at your fingertips, and you aren’t stuck dealing with a sat receiver designed 12 years ago.
Does it have the little shark fin sat antenna on the roof?

Thanks man. Happy so far. It will primarily drive my wife to the grocery store, but will do a little work to make it capable when I "borrow" it too.

So ... Tonight my wife say ... "This Landrcruiser needs bigger tires." Needless to say I was shocked and utterly excited.
