Just drove my 2023 F Sport another 20 kms today. Do you guys find the idle is a bit rough, when I say rough, I can feel the LX600 shake a bit at idle (sitting at the lights). I vaguely remember watching a youtube review of someone mentioning the "rough" idle.
Mine idles a bit rough at times.

A 600 ships on 255s?!?
Boy aint no way no boai

Something doesnt sound right here, then you had a blowout?

EDIT:

Wait are you the same dude i was arguing with months back about how you get 24mpg?
Im not sure who that was.
They come with 265/55/20, just a grammatical mistake.

This is the tire and size the LX should come with stock. Fills out the wheel wells, no rubbing, much more planted ride. 4-5% decrease in speedometer reading (says 70mph when going 73.5mph).

Very happy. If I didn't have an Ineos Grenadier on the way for the adventure rig, I'd have put bfg KO2's here, but this is going to be my daily back and forth to the hospital rig.

Why did you go 275/60 instead of 275/55? Just wondering because I’m planning on changing mine out as well.

Appreciate all the feedback on the LX600, it's very helpful. Will be purchasing that or the GX550 as my wife's dd after the X5 lease ends in a few months. Can't wait to get rid of it. 2 episodes of the water pump self destructing and overheating at 8k and 15k miles, leaving us stranded.

We're leaning towards the luxury trim possibly with ahc. Really like the ahc in our 100 series, still flawless and all original (except fluid!) at 201k miles.

The rear legroom and headroom is disappointing though. Feels the same/slightly smaller in the 2nd row compared to our 100. Definitely wider though.

Tire size availability, marginal difference.
If they had the 275/55 when you were purchasing, would you have gotten them instead? Do you think there is a difference beteeen the 2? And what would they be. I’m ordering either one tonight, and can’t decide.

Thanks.

The 60's are marginally taller than the 55's. If I recall correctly, the 255 is the distance in mm from one rim edge to the other across the tread, and the second number is the percentage of sidewall of that overall width. So a 275/55 has 7.5cm of sidewall, and a 275/60 has 8.3 cm of sidewall, roughly one centimeter taller.

Ultimately it doesn't make a difference, but I've been very happy with that extra 1cm (and extra 2-3 inches from the standard issue tire).

Thanks, I too just had a blowout last night (from an unscene pothole) and I wanted to change out the stupid sizing Yokohamas anyway. I just ordered 5 of the 275/55/20 & Will get installed tomorrow. You get no rub on full lock out in reverse either?

No rubs at all.

No rubs at all.
Done, what PSI are you running?

Draw chalk lines on your tread, then run down the road a bit (short, like 100yds) and come back. If the chalk remains on the outside edges, you're inflated too high. If the center chalk remains, way too low.

Had to run some 37's in my previous Jeep at 25lbs all the time due to rims that were too thin (7.5 stock rims), when I needed 8.5 or 9 inches wide.

The short answer is what you said: 33-35 lbs should be fine.

This is why I’ve sat on the build screen for months, and just done with Lexus / Toyota products man.

I’ve been building 600s again this week out of just upgrade itch, but I look at the packages, wheels, and features and I’m just like not sure how I can go through what I quoted you saying…

I want an 5 seat on adaptive dampers (indifferent on AHC), with 20s, with ML 25 speaker, with black non semi aniline leather.
Not only this doesn’t exist, but the 20s and 18s are beyond ugly. The base model is the only one you can get in a 5 seater, because we all know the third row is just there to fool cross shoppers, and the you can’t even get temp controlled front seats in that trim.

So what I’m going to buy a $115k suv with wheels and tires that I need to swap out of the lot? And then it’s going to need a lift to look right….

Yeah man **** this game.

It’s also like Lexus does not want me to buy my third LX… good I guess, **** em.

The death of the LC made this the chintsiest LX ever offered.

And you can get a luxury on 18s but f sport only on 22s??

How is wheel choice gate kept? It’s like they don’t want to do well. MB gives you nine choices on a G…

And then go buy another one. I love it. Yeah, steep price point, but it's just a great vehicle. Had something about it that I just can't get with anything south of a G-wagon.
