Just got a 2021 taco. Waited 100 days as there were zero access cab, long beds made for the GST region - like 145 dealerships and zip. I got hooked up with an email address from someone on the forum announcing no more 200s for 2022. Great rep got me one in line and I paired it with my local dealer.

Anyway, options are adv tech package, led lights, bsm, rear parking sensors, etc. TRD off-road.

Love it but it really has no power and a weird shifting trans. Now if only we could get a 4 cyl turbo Diesel in the good ole USA!

Mod 1 is ceramic coat, light front tint, dark rear. Mod 2 is redarc brake controller. Don't see any more - LC gets all the love.

Nice! Thinking about getting one of these. Owned lots of bikes but never one of these. What are your pros and cons of these? Do you do long trips?
Thx

Those GS 1200 R's are great, I have one also.
They are smooth and you can ride them for hours.
That one doesn't have the normal cases and has some aftermarket seat. May have been a LEO bike? The normal BMW hard cases "expand" so you can put your helmet in there when stopped. I wish the new ones did that also but they quit making them so they expand.
Maintenance is easy except for flushing the brake fluid, I had the dealer do it.
Lowest maintenance bike I've ever owned. Smooth and quiet. GPS options with blue tooth helmet speakers are aftermarket options.
The fuel pump is or was on recall, mine leaked and the dealer replaced it.
They ride great, very stable on graded dirt roads.

Congrats. But I never warmed to the long nosed 3rd gen. Always looked awkard compared to 2nd gen, the added hood length is very visible from driver's seat. It puzzled me they extended it for pedestrian safety regulations that don't even apply in the US, and they don't seem to sell the truck where they do (Europe).

Uh, if only we got the Hilux....

A post-dieselgate tdi vw, in it's preferred state.... just kidding; it's only needed to be towed once in the past year ;)

Check out OV Tune if the shifting continues to bother you. Most people are hesitant to reflash ECU/TCU with an 3rd party tune especially while still under warranty, but it made a big difference on my 2017 TRD OR by changing the shifting tables.

I have been looking at these. How do you like it so far?
Love it so far! Really quick, especially for the money. Solid handling and acceleration, sounds great, and nice creature comforts and luxury appointments. Really fun car to drive, and it's a looker for sure. It can be tricky to get in and out for some people, and visibility is somewhat decent. I see it as a smart move for Toyota, the "BMW" criticism is misplaced - all the things BMW contributed to it really make it what it is. It's more than worthy of the Supra badge IMO.

Two of the most iconic Toyota nameplates:

And a Subaru Baja

I never knew they offered that with a manual. That's awesome!
Yeah, they’re unicorns, only 134 made with the V8 and the manual. A few hundred V6 manuals.

Sold my Tundra this past weekend to fund my new 200 series build. Kept the ‘05 100 series.
