Awesome you have a Merc 6.3 still running...

Our old Merc (My Dad's) would spin the tires in the garage when you dropped it into reverse...

Lots of memories sweating it out in a 152 too with instructors that were merciless to teenage boys in the 1980's. (now it would be labeled abuse ... LOL)

Soon-to-be adding 2020 Miata RF

You may regret selling that 40th anniversary. I'd hold onto that one if I owned it. I've only had run of the mill 80 series, and I miss them a lot.

Oh, I agree. The thought of it makes me upset. But as the Volvo is going soon (was a lease), my wife will end up driving the newest vehicle, MY 2021 LC. So it won't really be mine unless I get her something else, which is where the Miata comes in. I don't need to get rid of anything to be honest, it just seems silly for me to have so many vehicles. 1st world problems.

Many cool rides here. My stable, in addition to the two 200s, is rather eclectic:

2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon (manual) - fairly modded with STI bits (turbo, 6MT transmission w/DCCD, suspension) - used to be my all around vehicle, family, autox, track, been driven little for past few years; been refreshing it, time to let it go

2006 Lotus Elise Sport - limited edition (1/50) with Ohlin coilovers, go-cart fun, love this thing

2012 Tacoma TX Baja Access-Cab: Home Depot / town "dump" device

2013 Caddy CTS-V wagon (manual) : garage queen, but fixes my go fast needs when out

2019 BMW i3 BEV - real hot hatch and this thing is way more fun to drive than it looks; bought for commuting to the city, now w/covid pretty idle, but great for grocery shopping, etc.

I 2nd keeping the 80. I miss mine so much! I'd have the same problem with that fleet with what to sell if needed to. Subi has its place, the miata is a fun ride, and your 2 older Toyotas you just can't sell

2021 LC Heritage (arriving soon, will be my wife’s daily for a few years, then we’ll make it our adventure wagon)
2005 LC 100 (our current adventure wagon)
2015 Tesla Model S (my daily)
2003 Tundra (Dump runs, home depot runs, etc)
2006 Saab 9-3 Convertible (only 38k miles, sunny summer day car)
2017 Audi Q7 (wife’s current car while we wait for the LC)

Lots of cool rides on here! Got a bit of stable envy.

I've had a lot over the years from a variety of makes and genres. Whittled down to just a couple right now with plans of another BMW M car some time soon.

2016 200 Series
1997 80 Series Collectors Edition
2021 Chevy Equinox (gotta love the company rattle car)

Nice! Thinking about getting one of these. Owned lots of bikes but never one of these. What are your pros and cons of these? Do you do long trips?
Thx
I haven't done any trips longer than a week or two. I plan on going camping now that I'm in Montana. Pros: it's the only bike I've had, or will have, so I can't compare. Cons: It's heavy, so I can't do any rough country by myself. I'm considering a sidecar now that I'm getting on in years.
