any kfc coupons?

Hahahah. So I had a kfc coupon under the seat, wannafightaboutit?
;)

That sucks about your truck, looks a lot worse than mine. Glad you're okay. Don't listen to the people telling you how dumb you are, I know from experience that after something like this, you DEFINITELY don't need any help with that.

Sorry.

Bull ****. The only thing that kept your sorry butt from being dead is the airbags.

I have stated many times that I have never seen in any venue where Toyota air bags have inappropriately deployed while off-roading. I continue to stand by that statement even though your truck's air bags deployed while you were off-roading, nobody in their right mind would say that they deployed inappropriately.

Too bad about the truck and that nice aluminum Outback rack.

Airbags just saved a pair of lives.

Truck is toast. Are you going to buggy it, sell it or part it out?

Glad everyone is okay, but seriously, why couldn't you clowns have purchased Grand Cherokees instead of an 80 series. You would've saved us all from heartache! You guys are KILLING me.

You know, there are many 80-less people out there, who would love and appreciate . . . ah never mind.

Let's NOT see any more threads like these.

If anything I think we will see more. Parents like the 80 for first time drivers for safety, first time drivers tend to be a bit free bird with little thought for things like gravity and mortality.

As 80s drop in price, the instances of this will increase for sure....I had my swami hat on when I wrote this, so I know it is true. :)

Awww.....dammit!

Ouch that hurts to see that. Pay careful attention to your back for the next few days. A fall like that can easily mess something up.

Good to see everyone is ok.

I think it is interesting to see how vehicles handle accidents like this, makes me feel safer in my 80.

A rollover at any speed is no joke- good to see the roof held up.

Buggy it.

This thread is the most fun I've had all day:popcorn:

Don't listen to the people telling you how dumb you are,

For the record, I'm not saying he is dumb or anything like that. I just wanted to point out that his comment that implied his injury was caused by the air bag kinda set me off. He should be thanking Toyota for designing a system that worked as well has his SRS worked. He should be grateful that he and his friend are alive.

My thoughts on destroying/rolling the vehicle were along the lines of the guy in the other thread (FJason80's roll) that discussed how we would have accepted it well had he rolled the truck on an obstacle or something. Many of us participate in this 4-wheeling hobby that has risks of both personal injury and property damage. There have been several that have wrecked their 80 and several that have rolled their 80. How we have done it, in some respects, is irrelevant. So, in summary, I'm not coming down on this guy for a dumb stunt. Many of us have done things just as dumb so we should all have some empathy for the guy in that respect.

damnit if this again doesn't chap my ass. i've been on the hunt for an 80 and this makes me angry. i keep missing out on great deals by a matter on hours and this makes me . the hell with it.... i'm buying an extreme tundra that will walk all over an 80 series.:flipoff2:

BTW, if you part it out I'd like the cats!

X2 -> yup never heard of Toy air bags deployed while off- roading.I don't wheel my 80 but buddy does.He wheeled his 80 hard, but again the air bags deployed off-roading...

Well as long as you are okay and want to sell those OEM wheels? Let me know buddy looking for set, but any damage, bent or crack on the wheel?
