In a word, it's garbage. for $400 they should be embarrassed.

  1. Color doesn't match, my stock carpet kit is at least 1 shade DARKER
  2. kit wasn't complete, no jute padding for the cargo area was included
  3. Jute padding provided is about half the thickness of the stock Jute
  4. the quality of the carpet is no where near stock, its thinner, there is no heavy duty plastic backing like stock. You can actually see the backing through the carpet its so thin
  5. the kit while cut and sewn, at first glance looks like it would fit well, but the kit is much too large and needs to be cut down considerably. I understand making it a little larger but this thing is inches bigger all the way around making it a bitch to get it to fit properly
  6. the heel pad is way too big and appears to be sewn in at an angle making it very hard to fit right and look decent.
All in all I would rate the kit a C-, I wouldn't buy it again nor would I recommend it. Spend the money with a good upholstery shop and have them make you a custom one, the fit and quality will be well worth the extra dollars you will spend, though I doubt It would be very much more. I'll post pics later. I'm seriously considering pulling it out, cleaning my stock kit and re-installing it

THAT SUCKS! I am still looking for a good kit. Since you have yours out. Send it to the upholstery shop and template your new carpet!

That sucks, do you have pics?

I have only ordered a few things from them and still 50/50 on their stuff but the knuckle rebuild kits they have are very nice and the egr block off plates were pretty good but as far as the headers they were ok but I have seen better and the spark plug wires lets just say bosch when they were supposed to be factory but I fixed that problem fast.

Anyone try the SOR carpet kits. I am about to embark on this project and SOR is 2 miles from my house. If the kit is ordered between Aug 18 and 22, the entire 3 piece kits is less than $400

Its JTO, im suprised the carpet wasnt to a maserati and you just need to "tweak it" to make it fit.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I'm not a fan of JTO.... don't think I would it from them to begin with. Sorry for your luck man.

My experience is about the same. Horrible longevity as well. Sun faded to a light gray in a year and the heel pad stitching came undone after only a few trips.

Not at all happy with it anymore. What's funny is that my old neighbor absolutely loved the kit he got for his 55. Wonder if they had a different supplier back then.

Off Topic:
I can't say I'd recommend their rear disk brake brackets for the 60's either. I'm in the process of fixing the design..... the little spacers are JUNK.

Hate to bag on LC supplier but it's truely "buyer beware" with many of their products.

On Topic (I think):
Don't leave neutral feedback on eBay for them cause the SOB's will leave you negative feedback then ask you to withdraw yours and they'll withdraw theirs. Even tho you didn't everything by the rules..... Purdy crappy business tactics in my opinion.

I thought that was VOR, not JTO.

I bought new carpet for the 4Runner not to long ago. I think it came from JC Whitney and was made by NTI (?), or something like that. I noticed they now carry a different brand.

I've been pleased with what I installed. Not an exact fit, but real close. It has held up to some abuse.

I am suprised that you are suprised. I have read many reports from disappointed customers who bought stuff from JTO.
