Nah, I'm not that guy but I know the cruiser you are talking about right off of where 206 and 130 merge. I live about 4 miles from there. 7k is a ton for that. Are you in the area?

are splits legal in NJ?

Legal shmegal as long as they look cool. :flipoff2:

Be careful with those splits! I worked at a tire shop eons ago and saw a guy blow his head clean off (actually not so clean :skull:) when he aired one up that had rust behind the lock-ring.

Yeah, i've changed my share of old 24" splits on Mack dumpers. Never seen one blow off but always took bigtime precautions filling them up.
Not sure if i'm gonna run them full time or not.

Got my 2F Toter modified to include motor mounts and bellhousing reinforcements as per requested Duke of Lancaster. :p

For Jim C..

The dude's getting itchy. Hopefully he doesn't have his license by the time it's done...

Man o' man, this truck will look better than factory

That is the handiwork of Sir Georg of Valley Hybrids.
I decided it may be better to score a corrosion free transfer case from southern cali than send mine. I originally soaked the bolts on mine but was afraid they would snap off coming out of the aluminum when I tried to crack them loose.
Georg hooked me up immensely and built another H55 jewel.
My linkage was pretty rotted too.

Did you buy those tires new? I searched Generals site but could not find them. I am looking for that type of tire for my 40.

Thanks,
Daryl

Got a set of bad ass splits off an FJ43 from a MUDder up in north jersey saturday. They have General 7.50-16 LT's on them. Wicked tread pattern.
Finally got the chassis rolling out of the garage for some fresh air.
Did some doo dad work under the hood of the body as well.:hillbilly:
