Does someone have the address of the gas station that we are meeting at by chance?

Pretty sure it's this one-

1419 Jackrabbit Trail, Buckeye, AZ 85326

Made it to Camp Soggy Nugget.
See y'all in the morning.

Cruiser down. Long story short, I had some kind of engine failure on Interstate 10 this morning.

It was kind of like this. With less fire. And about 220 MPH slower. And, well, ok it wasn't anything like this but there was A LOT of smoke.

Could be a broken valve spring or two. Doesn't seem like a head gasket as it's running and idling but down a cylinder or two with blue smoke under acceleration (theories welcomed). Looking forward to tearing into it. NOT.

Roadside service through USAA was a major fail. After sitting for 30 mins they called back to verify location again. Evidently they don't understand the difference between Mile Post 69 in Salome and 69th avenue in Phoenix:mad: So it went from $30 extra to $300. Anyhow, called and got a ride home to get my truck and trailer. I prefer to be my own roadside service.

Would have much rather had a pic of my truck on the trail than on the trail-er. 236,022 miles ain't too bad I guess!

Hope the rest of the trip was great everyone!

Sorry to be reading this Matt. Hope it's not to serious when you finally rip into it. If you need a hand pulling it apart, let me know.

Just got home. @Mattman sorry your cruiser decided to have a meltdown.

The run was great. Some good technical parts and more importantly great company. Thank you @coldbeerbrent for setting this one up.

Really sorry this happened, @Mattman, such a bummer! We definitely missed you and Roxy around the campfire ring. Interested to hear the official diagnosis, hoping it's not as bad as that gif looks! I'm sure you and the CSC brain trust will be able to get her back on the road soon.

Got a few shots of the ROTM, here they are in no particular order:

Those teddy bear cholla were nasty. I think needle nose pliers will be the new add to item on everyone's lists.
