I suppose I'll hypothetically volunteer to cook, although not 100% on going yet.
can't promise I'll get as fancy as CJ and attempt to turn that loaf into French Toast, but we'll see.If I could commandeer @Cruddz's skottle, that would be helpful.

I may not be going, need to solidify plans for the weekend and tighten up a loose wheel bearing.
Quartzite weather outlook says rain on Thursday and Friday. Sunny with clouds over the weekend - should be good to go!

Careful driving in those desert washes in the rain y'all. The trail is the wash in some areas, and the next round of storms looks BIG!
@Pitch we will be on a constant vigil. Are you and Tanya up for joining us this month or next?
Cleo and I will be joining for the day trip. We will have our dog Bella with us too. Looking forward to it.
. We would love to, but 4hrs the to the trailhead for an overnight or day run is just a bit too much. I was still considering this weekend, but snow in the high country is predicted from Thurs to Mon... Not wise to make long distance travel plans, since all roads in and out of Flag are so prone to closure these days.

Are you going to get onto Gold Nugget at I10 exit 26?
I need to find someplace to meet y'all on Saturday morning, so if I camp just off exit 26 it should work out - unless you get on the East end of Gold Nugget over by Plomosa Pass.
