I took 3 pics, will post later but I know Aidan had a camera...

Was a great ride. Very little carnage and trails were mostly dry, well except Tr 53. Finally got the top of the 70s trails and returned to the scene of Rocky's roll, he paid homage by taking out his rear window, again.

I'm gonna try to upload them all to flickr tomorrow. There is about 100 photos so it might take a while, but it'll happen.

It was a fun ride, and it was great to meet all of ya'll. Now, off to find out why my front locker wasn't locking...

Enjoyed the trip, but it left me wanting to get the credit card out for some upgrades.

Here is the only media I collected of CB/Patrick#2/Certified and Merit Badged Pyrotechnician. Did anyone get any video of the guy with the pink rabbit suit and glasses - I think he had a BB gun?

I'd take your truck out to a big field and turn it on and slowly turn back and forth a bit while you move forward. Sometimes on the 80s when the locker isn't engaged very often, it takes a while to turn on. Mine were kinda like that when i got mine, but as you use them more, they will come one a lot quicker.

While ya'll were on the black diamond trails, I pulled the connector and it was wet and muddy inside.
I engage the lockers plenty, but a couple weeks back tried a hill and the front was slipping. A while later, I engaged the front again, and it locked right away.
The front was locking earlier in the day at AOP, but I am thinking that the connector at the actuator got soaked in one of the puddles. I rinsed it with water at the camp, and went for a short ride in the campground, but couldn't hear it click. I have a couple wires that had been damaged previously, so they could be the culprit.

Here are a few pictures from the ride. There are a bunch more here, https://www.flickr.com/photos/40801324@N03/sets/72157650543569786/, but i didn't want to upload them all and make this page be impossible to load. 7 trucks made it out and everyone of them had a great time. Hope to see everyone out on the trails again sometime soon.

Great pics Aiden. I still find it surprising how hills seem so much less severe in photos.

Agreed on the pics.

I would have made it up that hill if I didn't have that TN dead weight in the bed - that's at least how I remember it!

I fixed my front locker this weekend. Going into it I was pretty sure it was a power issue, but I couldn't find any issue with juice, so I took off the actuator and opened it up. I don't think the front has since I've had the 80. The drive gear was locked up and a couple magnets were loose in the motor. Some quick gluing, and lube on the drive gear and worm gear freed everything up, and a 9v battery to run things til they ran smooth got it working well. I think I'll do the same to the rear just to R/R it.
