I'll be there. Probably will have a buddy coming with me as a passenger. I'm just glad that the park is at the bottom of the hill and I don't have to drive my tired old 22r up the mountain on I24.

hell I may end up going Friday afternoon, that's what we usually do but again weather dependent. Sounds like you're driving and not hauling up there?
We'll have to see on the sami. With barn raising and the holidays it hasn't even been started in several months, heck at this point I just hope the block hasn't frozen and busted. Of course if it has I will just have to look for a little VW Turbo Diesel to drop in it
Beyond that is getting it back up Monteagle Mtn afterward.

I won't be able to leave until Sat morning but will try and get an early start. The other option would be to arrive late Friday. Do they lock the gates to the park?
I wish I could haul as I'd probably make better time. Max speed of 65-70mph is going to suck going up I75.

Me and Patrick will probably be heading up Saturday pretty early. We usually leave as soon as he gets home from work at like 6 am.
I'll try and leave out Friday after work, but it might be Saturday morning...it will be a "princess decision" since I will be hauling with her car...

Officially in thinking about it mode. I really need to be saving money for parts but......
Couple of questions (1 valid and the other kind of stupid):
1) I may try and arrive late-Friday night - is the camping area relatively small such that I could find you guys?
2) the stupid one - trying to decide if I need to try and fab up some sliders for next weekend. For those who know the trails, how likely is rocker damage? I assume the answer is going to be - you need sliders dumba*s.

Camping is huge rectangular field with a gravel patch along the outer edges. We usually camp along the outter perimeter near the back tree line. Finding us should not be a problem.
Sliders are always a good thing. This place is pretty rocky so an ounce or prevention goes a long way here.

Don't know if anyone else is coming up on Fri or not but as of right now that's my plan. Haven't thought far enough ahead to decide on a time, seems to get dark up there before 5:00 so unless I get out before noon (which is doubtful) there's no reason to be in a big hurry.

I'm going to leave here around 10am. If the creek don't rise should be at AOP about 12 ish . Have not heard anyone else from the TN crowd coming . I guess the Cove run did them inn .
Aidan and I will be there around 8:30 Saturday morning. I'm getting exited!
