g'day all. dont really mean to be starting threads randomly but after watching that recent teq toolbox auction with some amazement i was reminded some questions i had long meant to throw at the mud specialists.

my friend has toolbox in a 60s stout that sorta led me to assume they were a stout item. they were in landcruisers also? anyone know for what period? the toolroll was supposed to go inside them? i know whereabouts of another i best go secure it and assemble some contents. i have a greasegun, coupla rusty spanners, toyota spark plug tool and damaged teq spanner clip. sourced from afar and of various ages!

i also have a query on old toyota jacks; i have 2 and they are both different. one has 09110-35011 cast below the teq emblem and "made in japan" cast into the base. the other has RK30 91100 cast below the teq emblem and a blank base but with more pronounced rounding at the base edge. the dimensions are roughly similar but the diamond pattern is noticably different. anyone have thoughts as to what period they belong? an opinion as to what jack is correct for fj25? or have any other thoughts or notice any other irregularities? any aussie input fwed?

my current project a stock old unpainted 64 fj45. toolbox yes? will look good anyway. and for what its worth my friends stout has markings of the first jack described but i am yet to compare them side by side.

Jacks.

The two jacks
By my 1968 parts book the 09110-35011 is for the 4# from 1962 on.
The RK30-9110 i will give you $50.00 for it. By my FJ25 parts book it is for a 25. Good Find:cheers:

you'de be better off selling your 25 to me than looking for a jack! would love a 25 tray for the stable. thanks heaps for the info. said jack obviously came with the 25 my family bought in 60 or therabouts so would sorta rather hang onto it. but will let you know if i turn up another; have all my city petrolhead mates looking out at the swapmeets and such. hows the gympie excavation project going? impossible to use an early 40 crownwheel? or 40 diff centre with refab. tailshaft? or pair? my father seem to recall the 25 crownwheels had an extra tooth but he not sure now was long time ago. think i mentioned this to fwed but he thought not? must check my notes

never even heard of a puclica. put them up in my kitchen last night for the photo and so i could quote the numbers. doubt the girl in my life thought they looked as ornamental as i did!

what about these old toyota toolboxes? my mates 66? stout has one (and the landcruiser jack). i have another one that i throw any random toyota tools of any age in. do people think landcruisers had these toolboxes or just the toolroll?

If you want to trade or sell any... let me know :)

The thread of all jack threads ;)

There is a date stamp on the neck of all 35011, and some others (not on the RK30), that will tell you the year and month of manufacture. Any other questions you have, let me know. I think I have a good handle on jack knowledge.
