Im still fighting a stall/sputter/backfire at lower rpms. I am thinking its a failing electronic fuel pump.

but the sputtering and backfiring especially; most likely isn't due to a failing fuel pump..... back firing is usually more along the lines of timing, distributor, or a carb issue but I by no means know what I am talking about.... wait for Marshalls reply and go with what he says

I'm awaiting his advice. I will gladly take the help. Its getting frustrating being so close. I am going to most likely replace the electric pump with a mechanical anyways so I figured I might as well go ahead and do it.

Yep. Got the truck for $2500, non running. Between the tires and newer parts there was close to $1000 in it. I am very happy with the purchase so far. Hopefully this weekend I can resolve my issues with the fuel system or timing.
