Found a 2000 cruiser on the east coast with low miles (100K), but have concerns about rust on the rear axle of this handy. Being from the Oklahoma most of our vehicles are rust free. See attached pics and thanks for any advice.

Looks clean to me, mine looks worse but runs like new.
 
Yeah...thats brand new to me. (Chicagoland)
 
Looks good, looks like mine. Atlanta trucks all look about like that... The drive shaft looks to have a little more rust than the rest of the underside...
 
Mine was worse than that when I bought it and it's easily the cleanest used vehicle I've ever purchased. Your driveshaft has a little more rust on it than I'd like to see, but not a deal breaker.
 
What rust? Looks great to me. One thing though, and I can't emphasize this enough, get rid of the Firestone tires! They are junk. Slap on some KO2s, TerraGrapplers, Discoverers or some other quality tire.
 
Thats almost nothing to what I have see..i'd say its great shape in terms of rust.
