Is this too much Rust?? (1 Viewer)

Found a 2000 cruiser on the east coast with low miles (100K), but have concerns about rust on the rear axle of this handy. Being from the Oklahoma most of our vehicles are rust free. See attached pics and thanks for any advice.

That's what the east coast call rust free.
I'd call that clean from what I can see.

Here in Michigan brand new cars fresh form the factory have more rust than that.

If you can see that much factory black, it's not too much rust. This looks really clean.

Looks good, looks like mine. Atlanta trucks all look about like that... The drive shaft looks to have a little more rust than the rest of the underside...

Mine was worse than that when I bought it and it's easily the cleanest used vehicle I've ever purchased. Your driveshaft has a little more rust on it than I'd like to see, but not a deal breaker.

As someone living on the east coast with a truck that looks similar to yours rust wise, I'll chime in and say that is a very clean underside and I'd not hesitate to buy it.

What rust? Looks great to me. One thing though, and I can't emphasize this enough, get rid of the Firestone tires! They are junk. Slap on some KO2s, TerraGrapplers, Discoverers or some other quality tire.
