Is it as simple as drilling a middle hole and Shazam ?

As suspected ... this works pretty well.

The screw holes are pretty close... 2” on center. The front screw hole is not centered on newer mount. It is off to side. The mount cover IS NOT a direct fit. Close, but no cigar.

I took a 1/4 drill bit and hit it at the little circular nub. Then I used sand paper and wore down the little nubs. As you can see, drilling there puts you off juuuuust a bit.

I just fixed it by widening the hole a smidge and adding a washer. Cleaned it up. Looks and works great.
The color is not grey but a light blue. Looks fine for now but I may correct that down the road. It looks better than my old dying mirror though.

Now to find visor replacements.
