Hey guys. I have been trolling here for a few months. About to buy a 2013 LC. Black over tan. cpo with 9900 miles. Appears to be in excellent condition. The bottom dollar is 64000. Curious if you guys think that is a reasonable price. Thanks!

depends where you are there is one up here (new jersey) 4800 miles silver with black interior for 65K

Meh :meh:

I paid $5K less for one with 16K on the odometer. It depends on how much you like what you see.

I think that's a fair price for a car in NE....maybe a bit high. I looked for a low mileage 13 but settled on a new 13 as the difference was only around $5k.

There's a rig in Miami with the same colors and mileage for $59,995. Might be worth a flight and a drive if your dealer wont budge on price.

There's a 13 near me with less than 60 miles on it, sticker is ~$79k, they're advertising it at ~$69k, which means they'd probably take less. Just a thought if you want one with delivery miles.

Maybe they do bring a premium in New England. There have been a bunch around here listed from 65000-70000. USED! And they have sold. I have watched them. I thought 64000 was pretty good. Guess its just ok. It is a cpo. Not sure how much value it really adds. A trip more than a few hundred miles, 2 kids, work, the trade-in... I need to stay local unless its ALOT! of money. Oh well Thanks guys!

Don't agonize over it. It's in the ballpark.

There's one near me...oh wait...no there isn't. Toyota in their infinite wisdom won't sell them in Canada.

sorry for the long reply, it is at Holman Toyota Marlton NJ. Now last week when I went there and went for a test drive; they looked at my 2006 LX470 and only offered 22k for trade in 81k miles. I had to pick up my kids from school so I could not stay and haggle but at the Lexus dealership down the street they have my exact same vehicle for sale with 90k miles for 32k.

Tell them you'll take $22K for the LX if they take $10K off the LC.

When I called the dealership about the one I eventually bought I asked for 0% financing. As a joke I said "Or, you can drop the price by $6K...ha, ha." The guy said he'd have to talk to the owner about the 0%. He called back 15 minutes later and said the owner agreed to the discount instead. I was shocked! It was already a decent price for the area. Wish I had said, like, $7,500 instead.

This is a good price. I used autotrader to compare and was hunting for a cheaper one. But after all agoni since September just decided i need a virgin especially if i pay this much. Pulled a trigger on 14 for 73.5 with remote and bra.

Been snooping around for a 13-14 here in Seattle. It looks like invoice is possible. Bellevue dealer gave me $73,534 for a new '14. Seattle prices tend to be high for cars in general.

73500 sounds right for a '14. That's what I was offered but not the color I wanted. As posted in my thread paid 70,200 for '13, all options I wanted. Colorado won't budge much either on pricing where east coast and CA will.

It's because they are afraid some crack smoking Mayor might run over a bunch of innocent kids on his way home from a local crack house :)

Probably...he would most def sue Toyota blaming them for the squished children.

He drives a big black Escalade.

Damn there has to be a $hit load of profit on these for Toyota or maybe not. Do you think part of the crazy high price is because it's built in Japan and the cost to import a truck into the USA is "HUGE" so that cost is passed along to the US consumer? I know the reason the high volume Tundras and Sequoias are built here is to avoid this high truck import tax.

It's a 2.5% tariff on imported cars and a huge 25% tariff on trucks from Japan, meaning Landcruisers and LX570's. So on a Landcruiser you would normally sell in the USA for $60k and make a profit you have to price and sell for $75k.

Just a heads up in April of this year the USA has proposed eliminating this import tariff even though the domestics are objecting. If this goes through we might see in a couple of years LC's and LX' about $15k cheaper off MSRP which will kill resale value on the current import trucks and SUV's from Japan.
