Is this acceptable rust for a 2017 LX570 (1 Viewer)

Hey guys…Looking to buy this lx570. Is this too much rust? Truck has 95k miles in lives in Chicago.

The pics are a bit too fuzzy in some places to evaluate. It may be ok, but given the location, it could be good to get some clear photos of the undercarriage at the transfer case and the gas tank shield.

Is there something leaking oil in the engine compartment? Both left and right front pics underneath show some odd staining.

any amount is too much

just like i dont want a little bit of cancer, I dont want a little bit of rust

LX are plentiful and one should buy a non rust example

It has way more rust then my 2013 LX that has spent its entire life in Alaska.

It has about the same amount of rust as my 2013 in Calgary. Lots of people will puke and say it's too much. That amount doesn't scare me, but it's fair to say, that it will only get worse if it's not treated...will probably only last 30 more years without treatment

You’re located in New Orleans right? If so, I would 100% pass on this one. You’re in the south and can easily find a rust free example.

I was just gonna say that. If you're in LA, why the hell are you looking at trucks in Chicago? Get a southern truck!

But, FWIW, that rust doesn't look too bad to me for rust belt, but no pictures of vital AHC hardware, which is a really important part of the rust equation.
