Shipper... Honor your quote! If you honor your price, you'll get more business... If you gouge us, we'll figure out who you are (or ask) and you'll loose business.

That rig is as stock as stock can be... not over length in any way.

If I was Sun Valley Trailers, I'd not want this sort of press... I don't know if they just sold the trailer or not... but those trailers are designed to haul a certain number of cars, and nothing about that truck explains why they would have to leave a car behind... could it be that difficult to count to 7 or 8?

They are looking at the open area between the bumper and the nose - where the stock winch sits . Most people assume it's been added or something since they are not aware of the truck's design for that pto winch option .
I'd bet they also assume that everything on the rig is aftermarket - which it isn't , but most folks haven't seen something built like a Cruiser either ...
The should honor the quote , or the word goes out about their deceptive practices...

I have a 1978 and based on post #10, where you get a good view of the bumper and frame parts, I'd bet money that it is indeed a stock front end and bumper.

Your shipper is FOS. Actually the whole 40 looks quite original from paint job to those aftermarket dealer installed stripes as I can see. No doubt whatsoever bumper is 100% stock. Visually the lift and the chrome FJ60/early Toyota 4wd pickup wheels are the only external things that aren't stock. I ran several sets of those wheels with stock tires as I had a buddy Toyota parts manager who had lots of new take offs (back in the '80s) $25 each new wheel/tire combo. Mike Butler, Eddy's Toyota and later general manager Toyota of Dallas where are you?
That is a good looking Vintage Cruiser! I would get rid of that funky lift kit and drop it down some, It looks much better on the photo where it is strapped down? Kind of spindly with whatever lift that is...Maybe it's just me..Hope the buyer doesn't want to turn it into a mud buggy.

Rig was safely delivered to my buddy Ray this morning and he is very excited... Man I love this rig!!!
This is why you use Aaron (@Riverrunner) for shipping. When a transport gets squirly he jumps in and takes care of business. Rig was delivered on time and at the quoted price.
Thanks Aaron for getting this beauty safely to Ray
