Is it worth upgrading the front brakes to larger rotors?

I have a 2003 Limited V8. I have 17" wheels but the Limited this year didn't come with the bigger rotors. It's time to replace the rotors. It also has a sticking caliper, though I don't know yet if it will need to be replaced, or just freed up.

Is it worth upgrading to the larger rotors? I know that will also require replacing the calipers. The work will be done by a local mechanic who charges very reasonable rates.

I don't do much towing. I do drive some pretty steep twisty roads.

Thanks for any info!

All the 03 model year trucks should have the bigger rotors. They started changing them over in 02. There is also way more involved than just swapping the rotors and calipers. You have to change backing plates and a few other things. The main reason for the change was towing and vibration complaints. If you don't have either, I wouldn't change them. More trouble than its worth.

There is no need to go bigger, they are huge now. Get some EBC rotors and pads when it is time to change and live a long happy life.
