Is it mandatory required to install Unichip for the TRD Supercharger installation int

I decided to delete all my postings here.

The reason is that everybody who wanted to see whether a supercharger can be installed on a LX 570/ LC 200 has seen it.

This thread has fulfilled its Purpose.

I have an FJ cruiser with a TRD supercharger which was fitted at the toyota dealer and has waranty it had the ecu flashed to trd spec .
On the other hand other FJcruiser owners fitted the supercharger and had no ecu flashing equipment fitted the UNI chip.
The TRD ecu flash is mild tune and as it carries warranty its more safe.
Where as the UNI chip is more power and you can have the speed limit removed.
I dont know if the same apllies for the landcruiser and the lexus
