Found the following link while reseraching PS Mods:

http://www.globalsoftware-inc.com/coolerman/fj40/21A.htm

This recommends replacing other seals, but as part of a rebuild so its not really applicable. It got me thinking about if there are other parts I should order and replace when I dis-assemble the steering shaft to get the box out.

Those who have done this, is there anything you did or would have replaced while doing this?

I would check/adjust/rebuild the center arm and the same with the tie rod ends.
I did all that and I've been real happy with the mod.

like degnol said, check everything and replace/rebuild as needed. the center arm was the reason i got rid of the mini setup. it held up great for 5 yrs but with 36" tires it got tired and i went another route instead of rebuilding again.
