Is Ih8MUD slow

Curious if anyone is having issues with using this amazing resource website?
When at home on my mac, using chrome, every thread freezes but usually will load enough to scroll through most of the posts.
On my iphone, half the time the page will turn into some kind of spam page that I cant back out of.
Ih8mud is the only site that I have these issues with. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have this happen on my iPad occasionally, I have to delete the tab. A few days ago it did it quite a lot, but not since.

Ad blockers seem to help with this. Make sure your browser has them.

The site contracts with a service to address the mobile redirects...screen shots of issues help, but they are catching them as fast as they can. The Christmas weekend saw nearly 100,000 malvertising ads blocked, but it will never be 100%. I unfortunately anticipate issues over this new years weekend too, and have made adjustments I think will help.

Ad Blockers work. But ads help pay the over $30,000 in yearly hosting fee to keep the site open and running. Supporting memberships also help cover that cost, and are appreciated.

I'll contact my sysadmin regarding the speed/page load issues on desktop, I haven't noted any issues myself. I know I'm on CenturyLink and they have had a TON of issues recently with their 911 coverage, wouldn't surprise me if their internet service is suffering as well. That's what I use, as does a friend, and we have both noted continual issues this week.

I’ve noticed a huge improvement both on my home computer and iPhone this week.

Looking at possible DNS issues, I've been experimenting with some "minor" domains. Most pings are 74ms or so, changed one to another DNS service and it dropped to less than 1ms. Discussing with my sysadmin to see about updating all domains.
